Really a great book

I am a graduate student. Actually this book will give you a broad overview for most of the techniques used in biochemsitry in all of its branches, enzymology, structural, biophysics and molecular biology. It is really a value to have it on your shelves.

A great text for understanding the physical principles behind, and conceptualization of, modern biochemical techniques. Well written, comprehensive, with thorough explanations. Highly recommended for students or for those needing a general reference book.

Good resource but the print is tiny

(Paperback) I opened the book and was shocked at how small the font is. Comparing words with the same letters, "electrophoresis" is just about 18 mm in this book; in a biochem text it is 21 mm. Would it have eaten so much into their profit to give us 30 more pages with a decent font?
It's a good book with valuable coverage of important topics, but the reading experience will be torture.
